Keywords:
Ángeles Caso, Contra el viento, sororidad, feminismoAbstract
Against the Wind by Ángeles Caso, an award-winning narrative, addresses issues such as immigration and gender-based violence, emphasizing the sisterhood between the protagonist São and her companions across different eras. From the slogan Sisterhood is powerful in the seventies to the present day in the 21st century, both the feminist movement and the connotation of sisterhood have undergone dramatic reforms and restructuring. In this context, exploring the new forms of sisterhood becomes essential in the modern era, constituting the objective of this work.
