Abstract

The novel Julia by Ana María Moix, a renowned poet of the novísimos movement, has been extensively studied by literary critics in the context of contemporary Spanish literature. It plays a significant role in the genealogy of women's writing by presenting the female image from a gendered perspective. Within Julia's personal development, traumatic experiences have a decisive influence on the evolution of her identity. It is intriguing to examine the various forms of these traumatic experiences and explore the reciprocal relationship between personal, social, and collective aspects.
