Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • El envío no ha sido publicado previamente, ni se encuentra en consideración en otra revista (o se ha proporcionado una explicación en Comentarios al editor).
  • El archivo de envío está en formato de archivo de documento OpenOffice, Microsoft Word o RTF.

Author Guidelines

Authorship and originality

  • All submitted articles must be original and must not have been previously published or be under review for publication in another journal.
  • Authors must guarantee that the submitted work is their own and has not been plagiarized, in whole or in part, from other sources.

Format and style

  • Papers must be between 5,000 and 8,000 words long, including bibliography and footnotes.
    Articles must be written in Spanish, Italian or English and submitted in Word or similar format.
  • The 7th edition of the American Psychological Association (APA) must be used for the presentation of citations and bibliographic references.
  • The font for the body of the text will be Garamond and its size will be 12 pts.
  • Quotations of less than 4 lines will be integrated into the text and will be enclosed in quotation marks.
  • Those that exceed 4 lines will go in a separate paragraph, indented and in 11 pt font.
  • The main title will be centered, in capital letters and in bold. It will be in two languages (English or Spanish).
  • Footnotes will have a size of 10 pts.
    The titles of the sections will be in small capitals and in bold.
  • All paragraphs will be indented 1.25 pts.
  • The articles will be published without names or affiliations.
  • The file will be named after the article's title.

Article structure

  • The article must include an abstract of between 150 and 250 words and between 3 and 5 keywords. It will be in two languages (English or Spanish).
  • The introduction should present the topic and the problem to be dealt with in the article, as well as the objectives and research questions.
  • The body of the article should be structured into clearly identifiable sections that present the results, analysis, and discussion.
  • The conclusion should summarize the findings and the main implications of the study, as well as suggest possible lines of future research.

Presentation of bibliographical references

  • The bibliographical references must be presented at the end of the article in alphabetical order and following the format of the 7th edition of the APA.
  • It is recommended to use the DOI (Digital Object Identifier) when available for each reference.
  • Concrete examples of the most common citation formats used in the APA 7th edition will be provided in the Author Guidelines.

Peer Review

  • All articles will be evaluated by expert reviewers on the subject and the double-blind peer review process will be followed.
  • The authors will receive a notification about the result of the review and will be able to present revisions of the work if required.

Copyright

  • Authors will retain copyright to their work and reproduction and distribution of published articles will be permitted as long as the source is properly cited.
